Julie’s practice is devoted to defending labor and employment matters on behalf of companies before federal and state courts and the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission. 

She also handles healthcare subrogation and defends ERISA benefits claims on behalf of employers and self-funded employee welfare benefit plans.

Before joining Russell & Wong, she rose to partner in another Memphis employment and subrogation law firm. Her previous experience includes working at one of the country’s largest management-side labor and employment law firms and also working as in-house counsel for one of the country’s largest third-party claims administrators.  She also previously worked for one of the judges at the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
